The object is cool, but the lesson regarding the origins of the kilogram is awesome. This is a math & science lesson just waiting to happen.

Sugata Mitra’s premise is that, when it comes to education,  “it is about letting it happen” and a curriculum of big questions. What if teachers only asked questions and stood back to admire the answers? Lots to think about here.

When I think about my own career, I can certainly recognize the truths at the core of this talk. I gave up my role as “sage on the stage” for one of “guide on the side” long ago. But I am still refining my mix.  How about you?
